Hayel Saeed Anam (HSA) Group

The Hayel Saeed Anam (HSA) Group was established in 1938 in Aden, Yemen. In 1970, the Group moved its headquarters further north to Taiz, where it established the first manufacturing company in the country to be owned by the private sector. Today, HSA is considered as the leading commercial group in Yemen, in terms of the volume of investments, market share, operating infrastructure, quality management, people, technology, and corporate social responsibility. The Group employs over 30,000 people worldwide.

The Group’s business activities are predominantly focused on the core sectors of trading, industry, services, and agriculture and marine resources; and include food and beverages, manufacturing, real estate, and banking. These activities are spread across the world, with emphasis on the GCC, Africa, Asia, Malaysia and Indonesia. HSA has close to 90 manufacturing, trading and service companies worldwide, and is an agent and partner for over 35 global brands.
The Group is well known for its humanitarian activities and its support for the local communities where it operates. HSA is also a major strategic sponsor of the World Economic Forum (Davos), and an active member of the Arab Businessmen’s Council.
