Tadhamon Capital is a Sharia-compliant investment firm with a primary focus on asset management across three principal business lines – real estate, Alternative Investments, and treasury and capital markets. The firm delivers a comprehensive choice of alternative investment opportunities, enabling Islamic investors to construct balanced and sophisticated portfolios accessing a wide range of asset classes, both locally and internationally.

Established in 2008 as a closed Bahraini joint stock firm, Tadhamon Capital operates under a Category One Investment Business Firm Licence issued and regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain. The firm has an authorised capital of US$ 100 million, and paid-up capital of US$ 10 million. Since inception, Tadhamon Capital has successfully maintained profitability, while total assets have increased steadily from US$ 40.9 million at the end of 2009 to US$ 52.3 million at end -2011. The firm has also been successful in growing its assets under management, which stood at US$ 713 million at the end of 2011.

The firm is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tadhamon International Islamic Bank (TIIB), one of the largest commercial banks in Yemen. Tadhamon Capital is differentiated by its unique investor base in Yemen, and also benefits from its shareholders’ expertise, reputation, and geographic and industry diversification.
